We would like to thank you for taking the most scenic,
highest and longest Narrow Gauge Train Trip in North
America!
We are Narrow Gauge Caterers and are proud
to be the food providers at the Osier Station for the
Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad.
As you can see by
our menu there is great variety and something for everyone.
All choices are ALL YOU CAN EAT. Each main entree includes
our LARGE salad bar and great Dessert bar as well as your
choice of drink. Since your time is limited in Osier (a
little more than an hour) for speed we serve our main
entrees Cafeteria style, but the Salad & More Line and
Dessert bar is serve yourself. All meals are
interchangeable, you are welcome to go to any or all lines,
but please do not waste food. Try to eat all that you take.
All of our food is homemade from scratch right in the
kitchen at Osier and just like Grandma used to make. So that
you will know where everything is, please study the layout
of the building below. Food Lines will be marked at the
Osier Dining Hall.

Salad & More Line Lettuce, tomatoes, peppers,
onions, diced ham, boiled eggs, mushrooms, olives,
onions, carrots, our special homemade croutons, cheeses,
pickled beets and a variety of dressings. Pasta Salad, Tuna
Pasta Salad, Breads (Rolls or Cornbread). We also offer 2 or
3 hot food selections on this food line (selections vary by
day and are cook’s choice) selections may include: Soups,
stews, casseroles, bar-b-que, Mexican selections, Italian
selections. Vegetarian selections, chicken, beef or pork
dishes. Please ask the Narrow Gauge Caterer representative
on the train what the selections are that day.
The
Salad & More Line is located on the lower level. We do have
an elevator for handicapped access or we will be glad to
make your selections for you and bring them to your table on
the main level. Just ask any Narrow Gauge Caterer employee
for assistance.
Children's Menu Hot Dogs,
Macaroni & Cheese and anything listed above.
Please
note: Passengers with Children should please take care of
their children FIRST. Please tell any Narrow Gauge Caterer
employee if you would like a Turkey or Meatloaf Dinner and
they will be glad to get it for you. Passengers wanting
salads will need to go to the lower level and assist
themselves.
Vegetarians, Diabetics and those of you
on special diets, we are happy to TRY and accommodate you
from any of our selections. Please ask your server for
information on what items are best for your needs. WE DO
NOT USE MSG OR PEANUTS! We do our best to accommodate
anyone with food allergies. JUST ASK!

ALL MEALS ARE
ALL YOU CAN EAT When riding the train, the meal is
included in your train ticket price.
Driving up to
the Osier Dining Facility: $9.75 for adults age 12 years or
older and $7.25 for children aged 2 to 11 years of age.
There will be no charge for children under the age of 2
years. These prices will include Colorado sales tax at the
Osier Dining Facility.

Please Note: Although we try to
make enough of any one menu item we sometimes (very seldom)
run out of a particular item, therefore, we reserve the
right to substitute ANY like food item with ANY other like
food item we have available. (Example: Dessert for Dessert,
Entree for Entree, Side Dish for Side Dish)
Osier Gift Shop The gifts you
find at our Osier Gift Shop are about 80% exclusive to Osier
only. That is you will only find these gifts here not in
Antonito or Chama. So if you see something you like you
should seriously consider purchasing it while at Osier. Some
gifts are one-of-a-kind only. The gift shop will open as
soon as we have served lunch.
Shipping Gifts:
If you see something you like, but do not want to take it
with you, for an extra charge, we will be glad to ship it to
you or to the person of your choice via the railroad to the
Antonito, Colorado or Chama, New Mexico Post Office for an
additional charge. Your gift package will be stamped with a
special stamp indicating it was delivered in part by “Narrow
Gauge Steam Railroad.” In this case even the packaging is a
great souvenir. To our knowledge, Osier is the only place in
North America where the mail is transported by NARROW
GAUGE STEAM RAILROAD!
CONCESSION CAR
You will find a great variety of drinks, snacks, small
gifts, candy and fresh coffee and hot chocolate available at
all times while on the train. After the train gets going or
even before we get started come back and get a cup of coffee
and a snack and sit back and enjoy the beautiful scenery on
your way to Osier. PLEASE NOTE: The train concession
car may be closed for restocking during the stop over in
Osier. All food and drinks are available in the dining hall.
We will reopen the concession car as soon as we are through
serving lunch.
